Well, well, well as if the long-awaited arrival of Obama et al. isn’t exciting enough, Hello Starling and friends have just received news that demands celebration and a couple/few glasses of champers (in all honesty, it doesn’t take much).
Our latest creative work for the Welsh transport organisation, Arriva Trains Wales, has been shortlisted for a CIM Canmol: Wales Marketing Award! The Canmol (Welsh for praise) Awards celebrate excellence and showcasing talent in Welsh marketing, and to be acknowledged as one of three brands to have demonstrated this in the ‘tourism, hotels, leisure, place & destination marketing, travel and transport’ category is an outstanding achievement in itself (more champagne please).
The ‘Make Me Smile’ TV campaign, managed and created by our design team and produced by Bait Studios, aimed to build national awareness of low cost, advance fairs offered by Arriva Trains Wales, challenging the myth that rail travel is expensive and unpunctual. Having taken a 5 year break from TV advertising, there was an appetite within the business to re-explore the media platform, and the brand decided to do so through us!
We couldn’t have been happier to hear that our combined efforts with Arriva Trains Wales and Bait Studios have been recognised by industry experts and marked as exceptional work. We look forwards to hearing the results come October 10th.
