What is Codi Cymru?

Codi Cymru is a marketing awards. It's a marketing community. It's for all of us.

We’ve wanted someone to celebrate the wonderful marketers of Wales for a long time. So we decided to make it happen ourselves.

We believe in our brilliant Welsh marketing industry, and we want to celebrate it and you, the ones who work and live it.

We believe in community, collaboration and building something for good.

So we started Codi.

We will be resolutely non-profit. Any money made will either go back into the awards or to our charity partner.

We’re inclusive and accessible. Codi is for everyone.

We won’t charge for tickets for nominees or their guests, and we aim to make it possible for anyone to enter and attend. (If you have any ideas on how we can do this better, we’re always ready to listen.)

Codi is for all of us

Who's Behind It?

It's us!

We’ve worked in this industry, with the wonderful marketers of Wales (and beyond) for almost two decades.

But Codi is as separate as it can be from our work.

It’s important to us that not only marketers but also agencies can get involved in the awards, so we want to keep it separate and keep it inclusive.

Who's Working on It?

Though the team at Hello Starling are doing most of the work to set things up (it was our idea after all, so we should probably roll up our sleeves!), we’ve already been working with lots of friends and colleagues who want to help out.

We’re working alongside a community of marketers in Wales to bring this to life, from PR and design agencies to universities and video production companies and also just some great people with really fantastic brains who will be giving us advice and support as we bring it all to life.

What's the plan?

First, we have the awards! This will be on the 8th of April 2027, and it's a big celebration of the marketers of Wales. Follow the Codi socials and sign up to the newsletter to stay in the loop!

To follow that, we're lining up speakers, community get-togethers and events right across Wales for the rest of the year. We've got some exciting things planned.
